About Our Founder
Ann-Marie
Ann-Marie Berdar didn't study the QSR industry, she built inside it. At 22, while finishing her Master's degree, she founded a plant-based café and smoothie bowl concept and spent the next seven years scaling it from a single unit to 15 locations and a functioning franchise system. She navigated every stage of that journey firsthand: unit economics, supply chain buildouts, franchisee recruitment and management, COGS optimization, labor systems, and the operational infrastructure required to make a brand replicable at scale.
Her academic background in nutrition science sharpened how she thinks about product, menu engineering, and consumer trends, giving her an analytical lens that most operators don't bring to the table. She doesn't run on instinct alone. She runs on data, research, and a relentless focus on what the numbers are actually saying.
Beyond her own concept, she has worked directly with two additional QSR brands on scaling strategy and operations - experience that ultimately made the case for Daley Growth Consulting. The through-line across every engagement was the same: operators don't fail because they lack drive. They fail because they lack systems, margin clarity, and a forward-thinking approach to building a business that scales without breaking.
Today she stays at the leading edge of where QSR operations are heading, applying AI tools, automation, and emerging technology to help lean teams compete smarter and grow more profitably. She brings that same mindset to every client: not just fixing what's broken today, but building something that's positioned for what's coming next.
